BECOME (Business, Educators & Community Organized to Maximize Education) is an award-winning committee of the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce, serving Roseville and Granite Bay. It was formed in 1990 as a unique partnership between the five area school districts, community organizations and local businesses.
Thriving local schools, colleges and universities are integral to an educated workforce and continued economic prosperity in the community. With that principle at its core, BECOME has made its mission to develop and implement a program encompassing the interaction of education, business and the community. It supports excellence in education so that local students can become productive and responsible members of society.
The committee helps put on two signature education events each year, including BECOME Principal For A Day and the BECOME Student Recognition Awards. The committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 a.m. at the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce.
