Cochrane’s Chapel of the Roses is Now Cochrane & Wagemann, Funeral Directors

Roseville, California   –   101 year old Cochrane’s Chapel of the Roses is now “Family-Owned and Community Focused”. Funeral Director, Douglas Wagemann has acquired Roseville’s oldest continuously operating funeral home from Carriage Services in Houston, TX. At the same time, the name of the business has been changed to “Cochrane & Wagemann, Funeral Directors”.
Wagemann has been a funeral director for over 35 years and looks forward to the future stating, “My family is thrilled at the opportunity to serve the families of Roseville and become an active partner is this vibrant community. Cochrane’s has long been the long-standing standard for caring, comfort and healing, and I want to continue that tradition”.
Already a member of the Roseville Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Roseville Merchants, and soon to return as a member of the Roseville Rotary Club, Wagemann is also Chairman of Sutter Care at Home and a member on the Board of Directors of the Sacramento Choral Society & Orchestra, National Hospice Foundation and the Foundation for Hospices of sub-Saharan Africa.
