A priority of the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce is to strengthen our local economy through workforce development, business attraction, and retention strategies. While our region is well positioned for tremendous economic growth, future goals will be out of reach without qualified and skilled workers. Challenges to address include: rapid technology changes; dynamics of the global economy; demographic shifts; and looming gaps in middle-skill jobs across all industries.

 

Talent Pipeline Management ® (TPM)

The TPM model was launched in 2015 the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. TPM offers consistent methods of bringing business, education, and workforce partners together to address and sustain high-quality workforce needs. The Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce is engaging employers and educators in actively building talent, improving the skills of incumbent employees, and utilizing TPM as a tool for economic growth through five industry specific collaboratives: Health Care, Hospitality, Construction & Utilities, Manufacturing, Technology

 

The TPM Program will run March – June 2023. Applications are being accepted through January 31, 2023.

Regional Business Education Collaborative

 The Regional Business Education Collaborative (RBEC) is a joint effort lead by four Chambers of Commerce: El Dorado County Chamber, Rancho Cordova Area Chamber, Tahoe Chamber and Roseville Area Chamber. This quad-chamber partnership is focused on engaging our 2500+ member business located across the region to expand work-based learning experiences for Folsom Lake College, Sierra College and Lake Tahoe community College students.  Efforts are focused on the manufacturing, construction, hospitality and tech sectors.

 

Get involved:

• Talk to students about your company and industry.
• Host students on a field trip to your headquarters.
• Evaluate students resume and interviewing skills.
• Provide an internship.
• Hire a graduate.
