Placer Workforce Development Foundation

Thank you everyone who joined us last Wednesday at our first ever Talent Connect event to launch the non-profit arm of the Chamber, the Placer Workforce Development Foundation.

I would also like to thank the founding Board Members who played a key role in setting the vision and strategic direction of the Foundation. The vision of the Foundation is to cultivate a diverse and talented workforce, strengthening Placer County’s prosperous and inclusive economy. Through strategic collaborations and innovative programs, create a robust workforce and thriving economic ecosystem where individuals have access to meaningful employment opportunities and employers have access to a diverse and skilled talent pipeline.

At the event we also launched the new foundation website, PlacerWorkforce.org, where you will be able to learn more about the Foundation and the Talent Pipeline Management Initiative that the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce brought to the Sacramento region in 2023 focusing on strengthening the talent pipeline for 5 industry sectors: Health Care, Construction, Hospitality, IT and Manufacturing.
